Self portrait at (almost) 23 years
Painted at Leith School of Art, at the end of the Figurative Art course there, led by Alan McGowan. I wondered how to represent the artist and the model in me. A nude self portrait seemed logical. The defiant and appraising expression was inadvertent. NFS. Pretty big, maybe A1 or a bit bigger.
